Whilst the fragrant smell of these oils might last longer, there is no health benefit in diffusing/breathing this chemical mixture.

What is the difference between Perfume (eg Chanel No. 5) and your Certified Organic 100% Essential Oil ?
Perfume (parfum) is an expensive, chemical blend of synthetic essence, which smells like plant ingredients but has little to no natural ingredients. There are over 3000 chemicals that can be used to create perfume (those expensive concoctions released by celebrities, and housed in fancy bottles). As the formulas are considered "proprietary", companies don't have to disclose exactly what's in them. The chemicals are called "phthalates". A 2016 Harvard University showed the link between phthalates and an increased risk of miscarriage, gestational diabetes. Other studies have revealed phthalates act as an endocrine and hormone disruptors.

What are the safety issues relating to essential oils?
Essential oils are a natural, yet powerful substance.
Essential oils are recommended to be diluted in water for diffusion or mixed with fractionated coconut oil for skin application (do not apply directly to the skin undiluted).
Not recommended for use with babies under 3 months: this is a general guideline and not meant to alarm parents.
